Episodes is about a British husband and wife comedy writing team who travels to Hollywood to recreate their famous comedy sitcom from a successful British TV series in America but with disastrous results. Sean and Beverly Lincoln are persuaded to move to Hollywood by Merc Lapidus, a Hollywood big shot in charge of a network. They are initially thrilled and accepted an offer from Merc and decided to finally go for it, to pack up and move to Hollywood. When they got there however, they learn that it’s not easy. When their project starts, they eventually find the creative control of their project slipping out of their hands. It doesn’t help that the original star they’ve considered for the work was tossed for the actor Matt LeBlanc, charming, definitely, but manipulative and has a lot of demands for the show. Beverly thinks she can’t deal with these situations and would rather go back to the UK, but Sean thinks he can swim with the sharks. They later find out that not only their show is starting to fall apart, but maybe their marriage as well.

Matt LeBlanc plays himself in the series. Before this, he has been famous for portraying the role of Joey Tribbiani in the hit TV series FRIENDS. He has played the Joey role for 10 years, the world’s most adored character yet on TV shows. In EPISODES, he plays the arrogant but charming version of himself. Meanwhile, the Lincoln couple is finding it the hard way to adjust Hollywood style. ‘Episodes’ will return later in July

Great news for all of you Episodes’ and Weeds’ fans, as it has been confirmed that the second and the eighth run of the shows is going to premier for the first time in the upcoming summer. As for the exact date, it will be on the 1st of July.

New events and adventures are awaiting all the fans of Weeds during its eighth season. These adventures are going to involve of course, the marijuana dealer who is a former suburban widow, Nancy Botwin alongside her friends and family.

Matt LeBlanc is confirmed to appear on the show as himself, he also won a best Actor in a Comedy Series award for his role on Episodes recently.
